Public Letters.

Thoughts that deserve to be read slowly.

In an age of fleeting messages, I choose to write more slowly. Here are three letters addressed to different stages of human life.

To my younger self

On patience, systems, and the value of failing early.

Dear Anton, You are in a hurry. You want everything to happen now. But remember that the most robust systems are built over time. Do not fear the quiet periods – that is when the foundation hardens. Hold onto your curiosity, but learn to channel it. You don't need to know everything today, but you must know more than you did yesterday. With trust, Anton.

To a student

On navigating academic complexity and finding your own voice.

Dear fellow student, Academia can feel like an endless pursuit of the correct model. But the most important model you can build is your own way of thinking. Don't just read to pass; read to deconstruct. Always ask: "Why is this the accepted truth?" The answer is often found in the weaknesses that the models try to hide. Best regards, Anton.

To a future reader

A message about time, technology, and what remains human.

Dear future, I am writing this during a turning point for artificial intelligence. The world feels fast. But regardless of how quickly technology moves, the need for direction, meaning, and depth will remain constant. Save space for the analog. Save space for the slow. It is in the silence that the clearest thoughts emerge. Take care of time, Anton MBJ.
