Collaboration
Collaboration & Services
I primarily take on student/part-time tasks, student assistant roles, and research assistant tasks within data, economics, and models — as well as Excel/VBA teaching.
In Short
- Base: Copenhagen (remote/hybrid possible)
- Response: Typically 24–48 hours on weekdays
- Tools: Python, SAS, GAMS, Excel/VBA (+ Stata/MATLAB)
What I can help with
1) Data Analysis & Econometric Tasks
Data cleaning, descriptive analysis, regression/econometrics, time series, and robustness checks.
- • Reproducible workflows
- • Clear documentation and versioning
- • Results presented in figures/tables
2) Modeling (Macro/Structural)
Working with economic models (e.g., CGE/RBC), calibration, scenarios, and quality checks.
- • Baseline → shock → comparison
- • Consistency checks (e.g., “does it add up?”)
- • Communication of assumptions and limitations
3) Excel/VBA Teaching & Materials
Practical cases, clear workflows, and “from problem to solution” — including templates and exercises.
- • Excel efficiency + best practices
- • VBA automations
- • Materials shared after the course
How I work
- Clarify Goal – What is it for?
- Data – Access, quality, definitions, documentation
- Methodology – Choice of model/estimator and plan
- Robustness – Sanity checks, sensitivity, alternative specs
- Communication – Figures/tables + short, clear conclusion
- Delivery – Code + output + short “README”
Can you share code/data from projects?
Some projects are public (GitHub). Others cannot be shared due to coursework/confidentiality. I can often share “sanitized” examples or a simplified demo.
Tools & Proficiency
Python
Daily use
Excel/VBA
Daily use (teaching + automations)
SAS
Solid knowledge (time series/forecasting)
GAMS
Solid knowledge (CGE/modeling)
Stata / MATLAB
Basic
Tasks I typically decline
- • Unclear requirements (“we don't know what we want, but we need it tomorrow”)
- • Unreasonable deadlines without room for quality/robustness
- • Tasks without data access or ability to verify sources
- • “Just make a model without assumptions” (that doesn't exist 😄)
Remote/hybrid?
Yes — Copenhagen based, but hybrid/remote depends on the task and data security.
